Our History

Lifeway Church officially began in January of 2007 and met at the Auburn City Hall. In May of 2007 the church relocated to a facility on Highway 8 in Auburn, Georgia (5 Third Street). After outgrowing the 5 Third Street facility the church moved to the former Carl Baptist Church for a period of a year before moving to the current location on December 1st 2010.

The current location is in Auburn Crossing just across Highway 8 from McDonalds in Auburn, Georgia.

The City of Auburn is in Barrow County between I-85 and Highway 316, a few miles from Dacula and Gwinnett County.

From 85 North:

Take 85 North to Highway 316 East toward Athens. Turn left at Winder Highway - Highway 8. Continue 5 miles to traffic light at (324) and Hwy 8. We are on the right in Auburn Crossing across from McDonald's and beside Anytime Fitness.

From Mall of Georgia:

From Buford Dr. take Gravel Springs Rd. (324) east to Hwy 8 (Winder highway). Turn left. We are located in Auburn Crossing across from McDonald's and beside Anytime Fitness.

Lifeway Church is a Non-Profit Organization registered with the State of Georgia and is officially recognized by the IRS as an 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit Organization.

Our Pastors

Bruce and Sheila Rhodes are graduates of Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Upon graduation from RHEMA in 1987 they were married. They have an 21 year old daughter, Elizabeth. The Rhodes' have been in ministry for over 27 years and have served as Associate Pastors for 10 years and Missionary / Pastors in Rome Italy for 7 years. They are ordained with Rhema Ministerial Association International and have a passion to see the local church grow. They emphasize the integrity of the Word of God, practical application of Word in everyday life and each believer finding their place in the body of Christ.
